On January 19, 2026, the leadership team of the School of Foreign Languages, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, held the 2026 Winter Vacation Strategic Planning Meeting in xonference room 224, Yang Yongman Building. The meeting was devoted to in-depth discussions on the development landscape and key tasks of the School, and to the systematic formulation of strategies for the next stage of work.

Based on the long-term development of the School, the participants conducted in-depth exchanges on key areas including foreign language discipline development, faculty building, talent cultivation, organized research, and internal governance. Drawing on the actual conditions of the School and their respective responsibilities, the leadership team analyzed the current situation, identified challenges, exchanged perspectives, and further unified thinking and built consensus.
